i just love this bone china spoon set from caroline swift. why are they so perfect? they are both traditional and and yet totally modern at the same time, and of course just breathtakingly beautiful.

its the little things in life...

...that bring the most fun! totally unnecessary? sure. but so utterly adorable that i am sold? absolutely! i mean, i'm a pretty hardcore devotee to wooden hangers (at least in my dreams. the ramon noodle life of a college student doesn't always accommodate them!) however, who wouldn't want to hang their shirts from hangers like these?!

i don't know what it is about these letterpress prints of poetry that just so speakto me. i think its because the literal letters themselves match, and enhance, the beauty in the meaning of the actual words. wait, does that make sense? its like when you take church notes with doodles, or write letters with your prettiest penmanship. or write instructions in block letters. its just makes a difference. oh- maybe i'm the only one who thinks about how to write when i'm writing! anyways, these are beautiful. what a sweet gift they would make for a literary lover.
